4.51 Invoice Templates


  • Navigate to System >> Invoice Templates


  • There are 2 types of Invoice Templates in the system.


  1. Web Page templates

  2. PDF templates


  • You will have the flexibility to control the format of your invoices. You could choose to go as Detailed (Plans,Charges and Usage Activity shown on invoice) or as Streamlined as you like, where the Plan headings are suppressed and only the Charges and Usage Activity is shown.


  • Zero Amount charges can be hidden, you can sort amounts in descending order, show or hide payments received, show summary of outstanding invoices.


  • All the invoices are self explanatory. The web page view of the invoice templates gives you the following options


  • Standard View: This template displays detailed usage charges. Use this if your on your invoice logo is square.

  • Streamlined View: Streamlined PDF equivalent that omits Plans and shows Charges and Usage Activities, supresses $0 line items and sorts by amount. Includes remit-to address.

  • Full Details: Similar to the streamlined, but does not sort charges. Also displays the Plan name in the invoice.

  • Invoice with Custom Parameters: Similar to the Full Details, but does not sort charges. Also displays the Plan name in the invoice. Displays limited data in Invoice Summary

  • Full Details with Custom Fields: Displays selected custom fields in the invoice line items. The custom fields are selected from the Order configuration.

  • The PDF page view of the invoice templates gives you the following options

    • Standard PDF with Square logo: This template displays detailed usage charges. Use this if your on your invoice logo is square.

    • Standard PDF with Banner logo: This template displays detailed usage charges. Use this if your on your invoice logo is rectangular and includes your Organization name.

    • Streamlined PDF: Streamlined PDF equivalent that omits Plans and shows Charges and Usage Activities, supresses $0 line items and sorts by amount. Includes remit-to address.

    • PDF with remittance slip: Suitable for mailing, this version has a remittance slip and can also print previous payments and unpaid invoices

    • Full Details PDF: The PDF version is similar to the streamlined PDF version, but does not sort charges. Also displays the Plan name in the invoice.

    • Custom Fields And Receipt: PDF version for custom field as well as Receipt.

    • Invoice with Custom Parameters PDF: PDF version is similar to the Full Details PDF. Also displays Organization name in the invoice.

    • Invoice PDF for mailing in two-window envelope: PDF version suitable for sending Postal email in two-window envelope.

    • Full Details with Custom Fields PDF: Displays selected custom fields in the invoice line items for PDF. The custom fields are selected from the Order configuration.



Fig 1.1 shows the pdf templates


Batch Printing-If your business does mass mailing of invoices via postal mail, we have the ability to print only the dynamic fields so that you can use your preprinted stock invoice forms. This version has a credit card remittance slip and can also print previous payments and unpaid invoices.

Custom Invoices developed for you in Blu will carry through to your Salesforce account for a smoother transition.
