Registering with Facebook, LinkedIn etc

Steps to register App in Facebook

    1. Go to https://developers.facebook.com/ and login with Facebook account.
    2. Click on Apps > Create New App.
    3. An popup will be opened as shown below, Enter the details of your app. Choose category – Apps for Pages


    4. You will be redirected to the dashboard page, https://developers.facebook.com/x/apps/<appId>/dashboard/ which looks as below   

      NOTE:       AppId and Secret are displayed here [this information will be used to communicate with blusynergy social signup and social sign in]

       
                     
    5.  Click on Settings. Enter the Following details:

                              A. App domains: domain of the blusynergy site Ex:blubilling.com [the value will be provided by                                                  blusynergy]

                              B. Click on Add Platform, a popup will be opened, select website and enter the siteurl,                                                                    Ex: https://www.blubilling.com/ [the value will be provided by blusynergy]                                                                   C. Click on Save Changes

                
    

                6. Click on Advanced tab. Under Security, fill the field “Valid OAuth redirect URIs”,  [the value will be provided                             by blusynergy]

                7.    Click on Save Changes


Steps to register App in Googleplus ( Any new app registered is with Googleplus, no google anymore)

                1.      Go to google console https://cloud.google.com/console and login with your google account

                2.      Click on Create Project , an popup will be opened as shown below. Enter the project name and click on                                  Create.

    3.      You will be redirected to a page as shown below:



    4.    Click on API's & auth in the left sidebar. Screen shows list of  API's, On Google+ API if it is not on by clicking              on “OFF” button next to Google+ API.



    5.      Click on “Credentials” in the left sidebar. A popup window will be shown as below. Select Application Type as              “Web Application”. Enter values for “Authorized JavaScript origins” and “Authorized redirect URI”  [values will be            provided by blusynergy]
    6.      Click on “Create client Id”



    7.      The newly generated clientId and clientSecret will be shown as below, this Client ID and Client Secret will be               used in blusynergy for social signup and social signin using googleplus


 


Steps to register App in Linkedin

    1.      Go to url http://developer.linkedin.com and login using your linkedin account

    2.      Go to “API Keys” available from the dropdown on your Login name, as shown below


    3.      Click on “Add New Application”

    4.      Fill in the details. Values for following fields should be as mentioned below:

    1.      Website URL : www.blusynergy.com

    2.      Application use: Social Aggregation

    3.      Live status: Live [for clients], Development[for internal testing]

    4.      Oauth User Agreement: check r_basicprofile, r_emailaddress

    5.      Oauth 1.0 Accept Redirect URL: [value provided by blusynergy]

    6.      Oauth 1.0 Cancel Redirect URL: [value provided by blusynergy]

    7.      Click on “Add Application”

    5.    You will be redirected to a page where API Key and Secret Key will be generated and shown. This API Key and           Secret Key will be used by blusynergy for social signup and social signin using linkedin


Steps to register App in Twitter

    1.      Go to https://dev.twitter.com/ and login using your twitter account

    2.      Go to “My Applications” link available under your profile image, as shown below


    3.      Click on “Create New App”

    4.      Fill in the form, Callback URL will be provided by blusynergy.  [value provided by blusynergy]

    5.      click on “Create Your Application”

    6.      API Key and API Secret will be generated
