1.22 Gmail Outgoing mail Settings

This section explains how Gmail can be configured with BluSynergy.

The SMTP properties will contain the below “mail.smtp.auth=true;mail.smtp.socketFactory.port=465;mail.smtp.socketFactory.class=javax.net.ssl.SSLSocketFactory;mail.smtp.socketFactory.fallback=false”
AFter the configuration is completed, please log in to your Gmail account and please go into “My Account”

4. Now click on “Connected apps & sites”

5. Turn on “Less Secure Apps”

6. After this step is completed log back into BluSynergy using Admin credentials.

7. Navigate to System>>Configuration>>Email Configuration

8. Scroll down and click on “Send Test Mail”

Note: Sometimes Gmail takes about an hour to allow 3rd party apps to send mails so if you get an error in the above steps, please access the same after a little while and it should work fine
